FARMACOL Oral is indicated for gastrointestinal infections caused by colistin sensitive
microorganisms like E. coli, Haemophilus and Salmonella spp. in calves, goats, sheep, and
poultry .Colistin is an antibiotic from the group of polymyxins with bactericidal action against
Gramnegative bacteria liek E. coli, Haemophilus and Salmonella . spPoplymyxins interact strongly
with phospholipids and penetrate into and disrupt the structure of cell membranes.
